The University of Oklahoma, School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science’s Geotechnical Engineering group is seeking an outstanding, highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research investigating unsaturated expansive soils. The post-doctoral research associate will be supervised and mentored by Dr. Amy Cerato (http://cerato.ou.edu/).
We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, good problem solvers, have a high degree of motivation and a willingness to learn. The right candidate will receive outstanding support, training and mentorship.
- Ph.D. in Civil (Geotechnical) Engineering or similar field.
- Ability to thrive and work independently in a multi-faceted research program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work with a diverse team of engineers and students.
- Ability to establish clear goals and to organize and prioritize work.
- Strong computational skills and proficiency in one or more programming languages.
